Respite Care

Respite care is a brief break for family caregivers. It takes a full-time commitment to care for an ill or disabled person. You occasionally need a break to attend to your personal needs.

Respite can be planned for a few days or weeks or simply an afternoon. Care might be given in a hospital, at home, or at an adult day centre.

At Ultra-X, our services are provided without agreements, and respite care can be scheduled on an as-needed basis without any commitment to continue home services after we are no longer required.

We are here to help when you need us. On call 24/7 for client needs. Quick and flexible scheduling with routine quality control. Care management that is thorough and family support more than twice as many care team members as other organizations

Respite care can take place:
• in your home
• at special day-care centers
• in residential centers that offer overnight stays

Your breaks can be as long or short as you need them to be. You can set up respite care for a few hours, a day, a few days, or a few weeks.

Ultra-X Respite care offers a safe, comfortable place for your loved one while you are away. Trained providers can sit and talk with someone who is disabled or ill.

They may also help your loved one:
• Bathe
• Dress
• Eat or drink
• Take medications
• Exercise
• Enjoy the outdoors
• Get in and out of bed
